§ 16-187. Zoning requirement.

(a)

Proper zoning is required for the establishment or expansion of a use as required by Chapter 35, Unified Development Code of the City Code of San Antonio, Texas.

(b)

In granting any required specific use authorization, the city council may impose conditions that the applicant must comply with prior to issuance of a license and a certificate of occupancy by the director of development services for the use of land or buildings on the property pursuant to the approval. City council imposed conditions shall not be construed as conditions precedent to the granting of specific use authorization, but shall be construed as conditions precedent to the granting of a license and certificate of occupancy.

(c)

It is unlawful to own or operate a used automotive parts recycling business without the appropriate zoning classification.
