§ 16-191. Issuance, renewal or denial of licenses.

(a)

Annual licenses including renewals shall be issued by the director upon receipt of the prescribed fee and the completed application provided that:

(1)

The applicant, including partners or officers in the case of a partnership or a corporation, has not been convicted within the previous five (5) years of two (2) or more violations of this article, and

(2)

After inspection, the premises are in compliance with this article and other applicable city ordinances and codes.

(b)

In the event a license including a renewal is denied, the applicant may appeal the decision to the city council.
