§ 19-203. Reserved parking for county district court clerk personnel.

  • (a)

    Designation. One (l) parking space on the west side of Main Plaza between Dolorosa and Villita Streets, and so designated by sign, is hereby reserved for the parking of vehicles either belonging to county district court clerk or operated by the county district court clerk personnel which has displayed on the front windshield dash an identification plaque approved by the county district court clerk.

    (b)

    Violations. It shall be unlawful and a violation of the provisions of this section for any person to cause, allow, permit or suffer any vehicle registered in the name of or operated by such person to be parked in any space hereby reserved for the county district court clerk personnel unless there is displayed on the front windshield dash of such vehicles a valid identification plaque approved by the county district court clerk.

    (c)

    Presumptions. Whenever any vehicle stands in a parking space reserved for the county district court clerk personnel and such vehicle does not have a valid identification plaque approved by the county district court clerk displayed therein, such fact shall be prima facie evidence that the vehicle has been parked illegally and that the registered owner of such vehicle did knowingly cause, allow, permit or suffer such vehicle to be parked in such location.

    (d)

    Penalty. Any person who shall violate any provisions of this section shall be deemed to be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall upon conviction be punished in accordance with section 1-5.
