§ 22-25. Overnight camping fees.

  • (a)

    It is unlawful to camp in city park areas unless by permit in designated areas and only by reservation or during a holiday declaration allowed for by subsection 22-28(a).

    (b)

    Appropriate use and reservation policies for overnight camping will be at the discretion of the director of parks and recreation.

    (c)

    Fees for overnight camping in parks with approved, designated camping facilities shall be as follows:

    (1)

    One night rental shall be from 3:00 p.m. on day of reservation until noon the following day.

    Consecutive night rentals shall be from 3:00 p.m. of first day to noon of last day.

    (2)

    One night: Twenty dollars ($20.00).

    (d)

    Any person violating the provisions of this section shall be guilty of a class C misdemeanor.
