§ 6-181. Purpose.

The regulations established in this article have been made in accordance with a comprehensive plan for the protection of the life, safety and property of members of the public. They have been designed to regulate the location, construction, maintenance, repair and demolition of retaining walls and the use of ground which depends upon a retaining wall for lateral support when such retaining walls are locates so as to possibly endanger the life, safety or property of the public.
