§ 35-F131. Requirement.

No development or other encroachment is allowed in a floodplain that will result in any increase in the base flood elevations except as provided in subsection 35-F124(c). Where construction of structures in a floodplain is allowed by the floodplain administrator, a floodplain development permit shall be required to ensure conformance with the provisions of this ordinance. In addition, all land development in any area of special flood hazard shall be required to have a floodplain development permit.
