§ 35-452. Certificate of Appropriateness for Administrative Approval.

  • (a)

    Applicability. The provisions of this section apply to a certificate of appropriateness requesting ordinary repair and maintenance and certain minor alterations or additions reviewed and approved administratively.

    (b)

    Initiation. Applications for a certificate of appropriateness to authorize ordinary maintenance and repair or certain minor alterations or additions reviewed and approved administratively shall be submitted to the historic preservation officer.

    (c)

    Completeness Review. The historic preservation officer shall review an application for a certificate of appropriateness in accordance with section 35-402 of this chapter. The appellate agency for purposes of completeness review (see subsection 35-402(c) of this chapter) shall be the historic and design review commission.

    (d)

    Decision. Applications for ordinary repair and maintenance may be approved by the city manager or their designee. The decision may be appealed in the same manner as set forth in section 35-481.
