§ 19-39. Moving violations; minimum schedule of fines.
The following minimum schedule for the payment of fines for moving traffic violations is hereby established:
All improper turns ..... $ 15.00
Barricade; removing a barricade in order to enter or entering a barricaded street ..... 25.00
Crossing double stripe ..... 25.00
Cutting through private property ..... 25.00
Impeding traffic by traveling less than minimum authorized speed ..... 25.00
Improper passing ..... 25.00
License:
Expired or no (chauffeurs) (comm. operator) (operators) license ..... 25.00
Expired or no state license plates ..... 25.00
No trailer license plate ..... 15.00
Only one state license plate ..... 25.00
Using another's driver's license ..... 25.00
Using another's state license plate ..... 25.00
Violation driver's license codes 1 through 7 ..... 25.00
Lights:
Failure to dim ..... 25.00
No headlights ..... 15.00
No license plate light ..... 15.00
No taillight ..... 15.00
One headlight ..... 15.00
No lights ..... 25.00
Red light or blinking red light, failure to stop for ..... 15.00
No valid inspection sticker ..... 25.00
Racing ..... 50.00
Right-of-way, failure to grant:
At a fixed sign of blinking amber light ..... 25.00
To a pedestrian ..... 25.00
To an emergency vehicle ..... 50.00
School:
Failure to stop at crossing when children are in crosswalk ..... 50.00
Failure to stop at crossing when flags are down ..... 50.00
Failure to stop for bus loading or unloading school children ..... 50.00
Speeding:
$1.00 per mile over the speed limit for the first 10 miles with a minimum of $5.00 and $2.00 per mile over the speed limit thereafter.
