§ 19-207. Reserved parking for county officials.
(a)
Designation. Twenty-five parking spaces on the west side of Main Plaza between Dolorosa and West Nueva Streets, designated by signs, are hereby reserved for the parking of vehicles which belong to Bexar County officials and which have displayed on the front windshield dash an identification plaque signed and approved by the parking administrator of the city department of public works.
(b)
Violations. It shall be a civil violation of the provisions of this section for any person to cause, allow, permit or suffer any vehicle registered in the name of or operated by such person to be parked in any space hereby reserved for Bexar County officials unless there is displayed on the front windshield dash of such vehicles a valid identification plaque approved by the parking administrator of the city department of public works.
(c)
Presumption. Whenever any vehicle standing in a parking space reserved herein does not have a valid identification plaque displayed therein, such fact shall create a legal presumption that the registered owner of such vehicle did knowingly cause, allow, permit or suffer such vehicle to be parked in such location.
(d)
Penalty. Any vehicle determined to be in violation of this section shall be subject to immediate impoundment, and the violator shall be subject to a civil fine of not more than two hundred dollars ($200.00), and other enforcement measures stated in the administrative hearing officer's order.
