§ 19-206. Reserved parking for San Antonio Police Department, Marked Patrol Vehicles Only.

  • (a)

    Designations. The south curb lane of the 200 block of W. Neuva Street next to the police department, located between S. Laredo Street and the driveway next to San Pedro Creek.

    (b)

    Violations. It shall be unlawful and a violation of the provisions of this section for any person to cause, allow, permit or suffer any vehicle registered in the name of, or operated by such person to be parked in any space hereby reserved for San Antonio Police personnel unless the vehicle is a marked patrol vehicle.

    (c)

    Presumptions. Whenever any vehicle stands in a parking space reserved for the San Antonio Police personnel, and such vehicle is not a marked patrol vehicle such fact shall be prima facie evidence that the vehicle has been parked illegally and that the registered owner of such vehicle did knowingly cause, allow permit or suffer such vehicle to be parked in such location.

    (d)

    Penalty. Any person who shall violate any provision of this section shall be deemed to be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall upon conviction be punished by a fine of not less than one dollar ($1.00) nor more than two hundred dollars ($200.00).
