§ 2-303. Time limitation to accept contributions.

(a)

A candidate for Mayor or City Council or specific-purpose political action committee registered with the City and formed for the purpose of supporting or opposing a candidate for Mayor or City Council shall not accept nor deposit campaign contributions after midnight on the fourth calendar day before the general, run-off, or special municipal election date.

(b)

Contributions received after the deadline set out in subsection (a) above or contributions not deposited by the deadline may be deposited during the subsequent contribution cycle. Such contributions will be subject to limitations for the contribution cycle during which they are deposited.
